And so the state that is routinely lambasted by the Supreme Court for ignoring the rights of the accused to a fair trial in its bloodthirsty rush to execute poor minorities, the state whose spawn is responsible for the current torture and deaths of innocent thousands the world over is held up as the beacon of life protection.
